Every, EVERY, cat knows in its heart that it is really a lion.

Fleshy rules, king of the jungle! Backyard. Whatever.

I guess after a week of cramming as many words as he could in a tiny little space, Mr. Meddick finally ran out of them.

Yay! Fleshy!…..And Otto, wrong! My cat thinks she’s a tiger, (even though she is built like a buffalo…..)

Tarzan will have to corral this lord of the jungle—Fleshy!

The final panel was a real shocker. Never expected Fleshy under that mask. Sneaky.

I like the tip-toe walk in the first panel.

Colorizing this strip took out all the surprise.

The main thing wrong with this ruse is that both cats and dogs rely more on smell than sight… the dog would instantly know this was a cat, not a lion. But of course, comic readers go by sight gags, so…
