In a “be careful what you wish for” moment, I’m amazed that every time America’s (and Israel’s) wish list is met, the Republicans still see the glass as empty, not even close to half full. After decades of their heros failing to see any change under THEIR policies- what IS happening today?
There are big changes in the air, and the “end hasn’t met the means” yet. I do have more concern about “fundamentalist Christians” gaining more power in the Constitutionally SECULAR U.S., than “fundamentalist Muslims” taking control in already Muslim nations. Our “right” can’t make up their mind whether military dictatorships or theocracies (not them) are more dangerous. Both are EQUALLY dangerous to liberty.
My 3 yr old daughter found it “funny” that they were waving a flag that looked like Turkey’s (another story behind how she knew that). Since I tune into the BBC once in a while to catch up on what’s happening in Libya, she’s now picked up on their flag(s), too. I explained to her that some folks in Libya wanted to change the green flag to the new flag. She said she agreed, the new flag was nicer and more fun and interesting. Can’t beat that.
It appears that towerwarlock is speaking for the muslim brotherhood.
figures.
of course if we had a republican president right now, they’d all be heaping praise on him and telling us how it is wonderful and neccessary that ghadahffis gone.
^but they are church, they reinvent history and say fdr prolonged the great depression and is the cause for our problems today caused by the entitlements of the new deal.
only this blame goes much further back than 40 years.

The question is, what will the Gadhafi-free Libya look like? With what are they really replacing him?

Right Wing Rhetoric. Spring 2011: “Obama is dragging America into war with Libya! Impeach him…NOW!”
Right Wing Rhetoric, late Summer 2011: “Why is Obama on vacation instead of DOING something about Libya?”
Anything goes as long as it’s bash the Prez, right HOWWWWWWW-dee?

Ballots are better than bullets, but if all else fails activate II Amendment rights.
