Oh, Rose. You never bring the carrier to the cat. You have to catch the cat and bring it to the carrier. Plus, you never start without making sure all the doors and windows are shut! Amateur!

Guess I am lucky 1 of my cats love the carrier he sits on it when I bring it in…. the other 1 isn’t fond of it.. gets in and cries all the way to the vet and happy to be going home when visit is over.. She might try just bring in the carrier the night before with door open peekaboo might just get in it…

Our current cat is a former stray, so we tried leaving the cage open for him to be accustomed to it. On The Day, we tossed in a piece of cheese, he followed, and I shut the door. Cat turned around and looked betrayed, then tore the door off it hinges and ran to the basement and hid for the rest of the afternoon.
