I remember the gas wars of the 70s … remember lining up in lines, waiting for gas stations to open and you hope there was enough for your car, too, in lines of 40+ cars. … remember seeing a gas station charging $1.10 a gallon and I thought “how can they ever charge THAT much for gas? No wonder only 11 cars in line at THAT station!”
