I agree, Charlie, like only PP hires OB/GYNs, right? The hideous danger of illegal abortions is real though, as real as the socially coerced population control which Planned Parenthood engineers. Best example of that is what PP is doing Downstate. Do you realize that African American advocates have the abortion rate downstate estimated at 60% of all African American pregnancies? That exposes the truth that PP has become precisely what is was designed to be, at least in the NYC area. Abortion as population control is a crime against humanity. To repeat, however, the other extreme is no less despicable. Illegal abortions in desperate and dangerous conditions must also never occur again. So… defund PP and get a good relationship with a legit OB/GYN. What was so hard about that?

WAR! especially for false premise, is the true crime against humanity. The “religious right” once again prove they are neither. Good one, Matt— now that there is a lull in "sex scandals’, the media are at a loss, though Fux news seems totally hung up on the Anthony case in Florida. Now, there is a case of “late term abortion”!

I’m glad all the voices here are being presented. At this point, the usual accusations are quite welcome. They confirm my general point about Leftists and their dogma. Rather than bark at the hackneyed image you guys have projected of anybody who doesn’t support your ideology, do you have the honesty to admit Abortion as population control is acceptable policy? And that PPs’ operations to accomplish that is legitimate and worthy of continued funding? Just wondering… but I doubt it.

A tiny fraction of the procedures provided by PP involve abortion, and when they do, it is to offer women a choice in their own health and lives, not as some sinister “population control” scheme.

Okay I support your position as long as we do it in reverse order, first institute a single payer funding for medical cost then remove all public funding to Planned Parenthood, that way people don’t get left in the lurch in the interim. Sound fair ?
