How did elephants ever get to be the symbol of the Republican party?
From what I’ve read and heard, elephants are caring, even compassionate, and community (herd)-oriented animals.
No offence, but are some of those elephants humping each other? Seems abit wierd the way some of them stand.
The elephant symbol came from the editorial cartoonist Thomas Nast, the same guy who was after Tweed.
If that’s the case then they totally have us fooled.
