It’s funny how people still talk about winning $1 million as if that’s a lot of money! It was in 1974 when Canada had its first lottery (to help pay for the Montreal Olympics), with a million dollar top prize. Today you could go through that amount pretty quickly without even being extravagant! (Not that I’d turn it down if someone gave it to me!!!)
