Olphant is not funny, and certainly doesn’t ‘speak’ for me.

But that’s exactly what that politician did when he wasn’t being coached by minders.

Spin it anyway you wish. Still, Obama is a failure.

In case you’re all wondering Mitt Robme made his living using leveraged buyouts. This means that you take out a bank loan, buu a company with it, and saddle that debt into the company you just bought. To make the payments the company has to lay off workers to meet its old and new obligations while having the ones that stay to do more work for less pay. The company becomes profitable and you can sell it at a profit.

What is it that conservatives say, that if government was run like a business…can’t recall…

Well we COULD stop two unfunded, and unpopular wars and tax the rich like in the 60’s and 90’s but that makes too much common sense.

What was it the Republicans were going to do when they swept in last election? Oh, yeah. They were going to make jobs creation their priority. Any word on when they’re going to START?

I agree. The two things are needed and should be as separate as religion and state.

Correct again, SirWinston. Trust me, he meant what he just wrote. No sarcasm.

Here’s another clue as to where we are right now; On this web site, Pat Oliphant is “in the middle” of the political spectrum. Really?

As someone who had Mitt for a governor, on the plus side he didn’t take a salary. On the minus side he didn’t really earn it. He flip-flopped and waffled to get elected and spent his entire last year in office traveling the country telling his base how much he disliked us. Either he lied on his beliefs to get elected here or he lied when he hit the presidential campaign trail. He’s not a wingnut like Santorum, but he doesn’t really have any convictions.
