That is just duckie Ziggy! We are really never sure…but it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck and walks like a duck. I believe its a DUCK! Now to determind if its the real Aflack Duck you gotta buy some insurance lady.
New voice is from a radio station sales manager in Hugo, MN. Apparently his impersonation of Gilbert Gottfried doing the AFLAC duck was what they were looking for. All this flap (pun intended) over alleged insults to Japan, where a large part of their business originates, and the duck voice was always done by somebody else there.

I don’t know, but I think the Aflack duck is now extinct.

The Aflack duck is still around. I Just seen him on the menu at the local at the local Chinese restaurant.

Personally, I think my favorite ads for the AFLAC duck are the ones where he’s really cold and keeps shivering and saying “AF-LAC-AC-AC-AC!” … ha.
