    It may look as if those ducks are just too lazy to fend for themselves, but actually, their very strict contract with the comics syndicate doesn’t allow loafing.

    Isn’t that crumby? Syndicate bosses have a lot of crust.

    Indoor birds learn to fend for themselves with human food, Most outdoor birds can’t tear things up and (since they haven’t ability to pick up food with a foot) need a little help. They even prefer grapes that my parrot has nibbled (or ones that I cut in 2).
