We’ll have to do our best to guess. Alice says, "That clown looks like a Transylvannian! And then Dill says, “It looks like it wants to be preciated for it’s fangs!”

Or something like that. I’m sure I’m close.

Wait, the word after its starts with o. So Dill says, “It looks like it wants to be preciated for it’s openess.” I give up.

If you are still having trouble seeing the strip when you read this, you can click on the link on the right for the “framed print”. Then enlarge and you can read it all. It is about clouds, not clowns.

The full strip appears at very small scale to the right; it is also possible to get the strip displayed at full but legible size….

It’s about Alice and Beni fantasizing about a cloud while Dill is a strident realist….

Dill sees the cloud’s true beauty – it is what it is, and why must we continue to add our own baggage to it. Wow.But personally, I thought it did look like Dill’s head with a crayon stuck up his nose.

On my browser, the image opened impossibly large. But by control-clicking, I was able to "open image in another window.

We’ve all been complaining about lack of magnification on Sunday strips, well today’s strip is big enough for a billboard.

The strip not displaying actually turned into a bonus for me. It happens quite a bit on gocomics, so the pumaman workaround is nice. Plus, I didn’t know about Richard Thompson’s blog. Just signed up for the RSS feed.

Glad I could be of help. Seems like lots of people are finding ways to view it. Shows how important the morning dose of whimsy is.

For Apple users: I just saved it on my iMac by holding down the Control key while clicking the image and choosing that from the drop-down menu. The saved image can be viewed with Preview which has a negative Zoom (shrink) feature.

Boy, Dill sure reminds me of Linus from Peanuts as he’s contemplating the cloud’s feelings. Great strip as usual!

I was able to see it in all its full-sized wonder by clicking on “collectible print”, then “buy” or whatever. I DID buy the “Pulpy Joe” Sunday strip from a couple of weeks ago -now to get it framed – in watermelon green? Devil red? or maybe Petey’s or someone’s hair color…

Wow – it just hit me. Cul De Sac has actually, deservedly inherited Charles Schultz’s mantle with the best strip from a kid’s point of view. Although the look is very different, it lives up to the level of visual quality that Peanuts set, too.
