Dying would reduce it 100%. Then the world would be saved!

Be careful with that CFL bulb - it contains mercury, which is hazardous! Make sure you bring it to a proper disposal location when it’s burnt out too. Or else leaking mercury from lots of bulbs in landfills will be a big problem for everyone.

Oh love whose dulcet colours paint my heart, let your every hue my faith restore, as my beloved I approach.

And let her see my every shade and tone. Then to laugh in simple knowing joy.   A happy valentines day to all! Mr. & Mrs Fenyugreek Tubbsbottl

Goggy98, you took the words right out of my mouth! I’ll stick with regular light bulbs, thank you very much!

Browning was trying to get into Elizabeth Barret’s pants. What he would have said if he wasn’t stodgy Oldtimer in a pre-Raphaelite world, was

“Love may fail, but courtesy will prevail.”

Browning also didn’t include “the” in that ridiculously bad poem quotation. He did write “The Bishop Orders His Tomb” which is a very great poem. And I think it’s safe to say, he got in Elizabeth Barrett’s pants.

Good point, Goggy98! The best way is not to keep on using the regular light bulbs - you only save the mercury but waste almost ten times the energy, Drystyha. Using CFL bulbs and bringing them to proper disposal location (perhaps even connected to a recycling facility) helps us all. If we all save a little, it can really mean a lot. And no, I don’t hug trees. ;)

I’ve been using CFLs since they came out. That’s why my electric bill is only $40/month.
