This is fear mongering, just like if we closed Guantanamo we’d be letting terrorist on the loose. Homeland security has produced nothing except a big bill and embarrasment if you fly. I recall CBS news showing how towns are using homeland money to protect petting zoos. Pathetic.
My income has always exceeded my spending- it isn’t “rocket science”. Now if we spent less on rockets (one-way type) and took in more income (taxes) we could balance the budget, but nah, that’s just a stupid “liberal” concept, called “intelligence”.
In creating “Homeland Security”, “W” added 33 (THIRTY – THREE!!) new departments and directors in their effort to “shrink” the federal government, and “ease communication”. right!
