The latter says, "Boy, I'm glad that's over!"<BR><BR> As Schroeder sits against a tree stump, he continues, "I don't think we'd ever get 'em out..."<BR><BR> He sits on the ground and concludes, "Sixty-three runs in the very first inning!"<BR><BR> He grimaces as Schroeder replies, "There goes our shutout!"<BR><BR>

I always say “There goes the shutout”, whenever the opponent scores against the Cubs.

I had to look up “shutout,” “inning,” and “pitcher,” but it’s quite funny once you know what it means.
