The second panel reminded me of Charlie Brown with a kite.

There he goes proving himself to be the biggest idiot on the planet again.

One difference Northwoodser: Charlie Brown has actually learned to move within the kite-strings, where Jon hasn’t learned to do so within the jumprope.

I jumped rope under my living room ceiling fan for my PE homework…. My mom wasn’t happy when she saw the state of it when she got home…

Ahh, Jon, you gotcha! You have to figure out how to get that tangling jump rope off from you. LOLs! :-D
