Wow, did John just grow into a GIANT in panel 3 ?!?
He suddenly looks HUGE compared to Elly!!! And it’s not like she’s simply moved into the background in the 3rd panel - she is standing directly in front of him - look at the eye contact. Now that I look again, Elly actually looks scared!
So, John is finding his work a tedious bore, what does he think Elly thinks of hers? Why does he think a week working for him is a welcome change for her?
Gee whiz guys, it’s a comic strip, not a technical schematic. Don’t be so nit picky. And if John’s burned out now, just wait until he hits 40 and still has 20 -25 years to go.

I think we all enjoy the comics (….to varying degrees obviously!) Hey, it’s all feedback! I’m sure the artists all enjoy watching us make our observations and discussing (and yes, even arguing!) back and forth with each other. If I was an artist, I’m sure I’d be watching the comments all the time, if only for the entertainment value that we all provide. Not all feedback is peachy is it? That’s just life! Life is one big colorful canvas, made up of the good, the bad, and definitely some chunks of ugly, lol.
Much better than nobody viewing your comic at all, right? :-)
