On day when I was in high school, for some reason I was in a really goofy mood and was laughing at everything. A male friend of mine had gotten a perm (this WAS 1980, after all). When I came around the corner & saw him, I laughed. He didn’t speak to me again for the longest time.

To often what mothers think will look good on their children has no basis in reality. Although I too think it could look good.
