Not going to share, Mel? I hope ya packed yer long Underwear. Being a Sled Dog, Fergus has a thick winter Coat to help insulate Him from subzero temperature which would instantly paralyze less-adapted Species . . . You don’t.
Good evening Fellow Baby, cleo, sugie and all ye gathered here waiting for the race to start!
I wanted to get to the Farmer’s Market before everything was picked over this am, ended up buying a bunch of corn and such, spent the rest of the day in the kitchen. Now I am done and back here. Hope everyone had a nice day.
I was just wondering where STEL was too. I wanted to tell her that I watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for the first time today. She would know the significance of that reference.
I was doing a slightly different take on my seafood gumbo, Fellow Baby. it was also a slightly bigger batch to get me through the week. For the most part, I think I’ll have it for lunch during my week off. One of these nights, I’m going to order out some Asian cuisine. I haven’t had any in a long time. I’m well past due.
If you’re ever in Montreal, Fellow Baby, you have to check out the Baguette d’Ivoire on Mackay Street, just south of St. Catherine. It’s the best Asian cuisine vie ever had. It’s been a long time for me, but I see it’s still dishing it out.
Which game, Fellow Baby? I no longer have control of the ZIPPER, and hubby is watching a British mystery, and youngest and I sometimes watch a game on his big screen that he bought from his KFC earnings in High School, but he is fast asleep. God love him, he gets up early for work, works a TOUGH job. He usually konks out early on Fri or Sat night. He’s up early every weekend! LOL! Quite a change from High School days! At least he’s working in the field we spent all those college bucks on! His bro has a good job, too, but not in the field we paid Cornell all those big bucks for.
I slept very well last night, going to bed by 8:30. I woke up at 5:30 and still had an afternoon nap that lasted 2 hours. Hey, it got me through tonight’s game, but I’m ready to turn out all the lights EXCEPT my bathroom night light.
Sorry Fellow Baby You know at MOTEL 6 we ALWAYS KEEP THE LIGHT ON! But I will check with management, for you, it will just be your bathroom light! I was never a big Penn State fan, though my Dad took me to a few of the games when I was a kid, because I was such a HUGE fan of ALL football. That was fun, and I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THOSE TIMES! And I must admire and respect Bill O’Brien. He TOOK ON a monumental task, and he has garnered much support from the Penn State community. He’s doing a good job, and he has Sue Paterno’s blessing. Not that it matters, but she has a lot of respect in the Penn State community, A LOT! And she is, I must say, a class act!

Never mind. Found it. I always thought September was a little early to be turning the heat on. No chance of that down here.

I think our Indian summer is in November or December if there is such thing down here, Shika.

Well I’ve been slaving over a hot stove for the past few hours. It’s time for me to taste the fruit of my labor.

In Texas those Indian summer temps you have would be very late fall temps, Shika.
