the burnt umber thing reminds me of a fella I met once.He is an accomplished professional illustrator and painter and graduate of the accredited Herron Art School. He was the editor of the Indianapolis 500 Program (a very big deal) for 15 years in the eighties and nineties. he is also color blind.I asked him how the heck does he get the colors he wants in his paintings.he simply said ’ I can read’

a funny thing just happened to me. as I was typing the above comment, my cursor, all by itself, started moving across the page. I was freaked momentarily until I realized the snoozing basset by my side on the couch had shifted his position in his sleep and sent my wireless mouse, which was by my side, down in between the cushions. LOL

Only Al Boreland can look good in plaid, and I’m not even sure about that.

Me, too, Shika. But I like to push his buttons as much as he pushes mine.

And he’ll likely call it a rat.

I take umbrage at the insinuation that black cats are bad luck. Or burnt umber cats.(And since I love all cats, I hate to see black cats hurt at Halloween. I did see that once, and I will never forget it. I cried.)

My Black Cat Molly is the most affectionate sweetest little girl. Got her from ROFF (Rescue Our Furry Friends). Her HUMANS? called them in Jan. in the freezing weather and said they had to come take her or* they would put her out in the weather because they wanted a dog now*. I don’t know if those RAT BAST@ rds ever got a fine from that or not, since they did call ROFF. But they lost out, and that is great for our LITTLE MOLLY GIRL! I have raised dogs and cats in the same house, they get along fine and I SURE AS HE!!! HOPE, if they did get a dog, they treated it better than they treated Molly, I HATE people like that!

I too hate people who seem to buy Pets as a fashion statement or on a whim.

That song is beautiful happy. You must really miss your Papa. I miss my dad, after 23 years….Good Night Citizens of Dogs and pets of all colours.(Night Grog! )
