It would however add a whole new demographic for politicians to lie to.

If young children ( before they are corrupted by society ) & dogs were allowed to vote our world would be a glorious place where life could flourish

Not a bad idea. Cats and dogs are pretty good judges of people.

Good morning to the Citizens of Dog.Today is the day of the memorial service for my aunt and uncle. It still looks more like winter than spring here in North Dakota. Leaves are just starting to open on the trees here and the temps are fairly cool. I hope you are all well.

Founding Fathers never planned on this kind of democracy. Those who vote NOW are often as uninformed as children or pet animals. It should return to the country being run only by land owners with a vested interest in the sucess of the country.

Heck, I’d give up the vote myself in order to take the right from other women who don’t bother to inform themselves about voting records and qualifications of a candidate.

The idea of landowners only voting is because they pay the taxes. How about those that pay taxes(work or retired from working). Those on the dole for more than a couple of years shouldn’t be able to vote, as anyone who votes the way his company, union or church tells him to. (single issue voters have ruined this country)

And you like that, Happy? I can’t stand cloudy days so you can only imagine what I think of rainy days.

My mom was a big Shirley Temple fan. Up until about 6 months ago, I hadn’t seen any other Shirley Temple movie other than Fort Apache. But the Duke and Henry Fonda were the big stars in that one. It would be quite some time before I’d see another on the tube.

Then one day TCM had The Littlest Rebel on their schedule. It captured my heart. Recently I picked up 3 Temple movies, including The Littlest Rebel. I was captured again tonight as I capped my Temple viewing with that movie. She was so talented.

I can see myself buying more of her movies in time. What a delight to watch. I wish I could tell my mom about it.

StelBel, we’ve had that kind of crap for the past couple of months down here, including early May. I think we are returning to our normal spring hot and sticky now.

    Gee I missed EVERYBODY! SIGH!

Stel, Today didn’t turn out too bad, actually. A lot of wind though, temps at 60 but felt cooler because of the wind blowing ALL DAY, nice weather for drying my bedding on the line though!

That picture is beautiful Happy! What a lovely flower!

Fellow Baby, ans you elsewhere, and yes, Shirley Temple’s movies were very endearing! She grew up to be a lovely lady. She must be what, 80 something now?

    HAVE A GOOD SLEEP EVERYONE!
