Fellow Baby, I’m not sure that I’ve seen the shows you mentioned. I was blessed with 2 PBS stations while living in Montreal. One played classic movies and the other British shows. I seem to recall a show while living in Montreal that had Brits living in France. I can’t even remember the name of that one it was so long ago, but I did like it. I do know that I didn’t like Mr. Bean or anything Rowen Atkins did. But my Uncle loved him. Go figure.
In Montreal, I saw some Are You Being Served, but mostly Red Dwarf, The Avengers and Keeping up Appearances. I didn’t see much of anything while in Edmonton. While in Dallas I saw shows like Chef, The Vicar Of Dibley and Keeping Up Appearances.
Though the viewing lineup on the Houston PBS station sucks, I was able to view more of the Are You Being Served shows when I first moved from Dallas. I have not seen any new Red Dwarf episodes, however 2 seasons I haven’t seen have been released on DVD. I’ve already bought one and plan on buying the latest release shortly.
So to summarize, what one can see on PBS is often dictated by where you live and the tastes of its viewership.
Fellow Baby, since you don’t like Rowan Atkinson, I guess you wouldn’t have like the “Thin Blue Line”, a British comedy set in an English police station. It was VERY funny!

I do eat some raw veggies, StelBel, but my fish, seafood, beef, pork or what ever must be cooked. No ifs, and or buts about it.
