Thanks for your luck and prayers. What happened is I had to get a POA for my husband He has been diagnosed with early onset of Alzheimers (sp?) and has been sliding down a slippery slope lately. The lawyer said that if he didn’t understand what was going on I would have to get a court appointed guardianship. Well things went great and he understood everything that was going on at the time.So again thanks everyone for your good thoughts I am sure that they helped.Now pray for me for the future. It is scary on what may happen.

And I vaguely remember the foil on the tv. I remember more, a short wave radio I had with an antenna that I put aluminum foil on to pick up far away stations when I was a kid. That must have been where I got the idea!

It doesn’t seem like so long ago I was trying to get the good shows on ABC back in the early 70’s. It wasn’t until 76 we got cable and a largely snow-free viewing experience. And we thought that was something.

Fellow Baby to answer your question over at DH about pizza, the reasons are numerous. I don’t Nike the dough, I don’t like pepperoni or even salami. When it comes to cheese, I only like pepperjack, Vermont sharp cheddar or Canadian sharp cheddar. On rare occasions when I eat pasta, it’s without the stinky cheeses as I like to call them.

I prefer to eat my veggies and meat the old fashion way, separated on a plate. I won’t go into how unhealthy the average pizza is, but given that, I don’t know how Washington can classify it as a vegetable.

I also have to keep my tomato/tomato sauce intake down due to the acidity.

My heart goes out to you sugie. That must have been a hard thing to do, but thank goodness it went well.

nighthawks, that one is priceless! I don’t remember foil as a kid, but I do remember holding the rabbits ears for a good reception! Sometimes just walking nearby sharpened the picture, but then I didn’t enjoy watching the T.V. while standing!

Fellow Baby, that explains it and I guess you have reason, but as much as you like to cook, I BET YOU COULD INVENT a REALLY GOOD PIZZA RECIPE for folks like yourself! :-)

And don’t forget too, that being 50% Italian, and 50% everything else, and being raised mostly around my Italian relatives, tomato sauce, tomato paste, cheeses and pastas are what I was raised on and still love! Granted, pizza isn’t Italian, but the ingredients are. LOL!

I changed my avatar for a couple of days. It is Annie and Oliver from the comic strip TEN CATS, BY GRAHAM HARROP It is a DELIGHTFUL strip here at gocomics. Unless you truly HATE cats, you should find it truly sweet and innocent. It is really cute!

Fellow Baby, it’s probably bad enough that I eat blt’s every few months. But I love my blt’s – with Italian tomatoes.

Also, if I were to make a pizza, I’d like a spicy tomato sauce.

But you know what, I’d prefer to eat andouille sausage in a good gumbo than pork sausage on a doughy pizza.

Has anyone ever tried to make a bacon, sausage and egg pizza – with onions and peppers?

I have eaten pizza that used Alfredo sauce instead of Mariana. It’s good. Alfredo with sausage and tomato slices is good. Chechen is also good on a white pizza.

You can put ant thing you want on a pizza.I’ve even had thin crust with sliced peaches.Glazed and baked.

Well I think it’s time to turn in. It’s going to be a busy next few days and and upcoming month.

We’re switching from calendar year to fiscal year ending March 31. On top of that, we’ve got our internal auditors coming, a Texas sales tax audit, ISO audit and performance reviews. I’ll be glad when March is over and done with. Historically, March has been quiet enough to take time off for spring break. Not any more.

Hi Grog. I live BLT’s, but I am not fond of sausage too often. I do enjoy homemade ones though.As for the pizza you asked about, I can’t say that I have ever had that combination. I prefer thin crust pizza with mediterranean or pesto and cheese toppings. I also love anything tomato!

I love a good marinara/tomato sauce. Coincidentally, I had chicken cacciatore for dinner tonight.

@ X-techInternet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari are servers, right?Google, and Bing are search engines.When I got my first laptop it came with I.E. and Bing.My question is, is I.E. and Bing connected at the hip?If I am using Safari on my iPad and I choose Bing as my search engine, will Bing somehow re route me back through I.E.?I am TOTALY ignorant about this.

at home I find BING TO BE A BASICALLY WORTHLESS SEARCH ENGINE! PREFER GOOGLE FOR SEARCHES! Bing is good for finding images, but for information, IT IS GARBAGE!
