THANKS TO EVERYBODY HERE FOR ALL YOUR GET WELL WISHES!

I’m on the mend…although, today I look like I’ve got the worst case of the “mumps” ever recorded! Ironically, I’ve never had the mumps…

Some bone grafts have to heal, so more surgery scheduled in 4 months. Yippee! It was a little grueling (understatement), since the anesthesia kept wearing off too quickly and I was awake and alert for most of the 4-hr. procedure. Solution? More novacaine. Now, I’m still numb 2 days later! Apparently, I metabolize the anesthesia very fast and have a “very good liver”. So, I guess I now have 4 months to get my liver in bad shape? Anybody want to go out for a few drinks????

Well, enough of my dental trials and tribulations! Let’s get down to the very important issue at hand!

When will the political theme on this strip end? And, it’s not even relevent to the present! (as most of us know, anyway….this being a retired strip — it’s also becoming a tired strip!)

Fellow Baby, yes I did indeed! However, I won’t complain about it being Monday today. Our temperature is 62. Have to work, but I have the office door open and my desk is almost in front of it. :-)

Tomorrow they say 65, and then back into the 40’s! UGH!

Just heard Adele sing the theme to the new Bond movie. She is perfect for a Bond song! That haunting voice of hers suits the movie quite well.

Fellow Baby, I generally don’t like Mondays unless I’m not working them. If I’m not working them, I like them fine.

I’m not crazy about Mondays, either, unless, of course, as you said, I am off. But 62 degrees? And my workday is JUST about over. :-)

Everyday is the same to me. Why not? They always go by so fast that they don’t register anyways.

I’ve always been tired of this arc, since I am Canadian. I have no idea whaat they are talking about half the time.

I’m enjoying some homemade Indian curry and rice made by men from South India and Sri Lanka.

I love it, but the pepper is so hot that my eyes are streaming. If I make a few typos, you will know why.

Mind you, I think this ought to chase away the beginnings of the cold I feel coming on. I hope!

Well I just kicked off my Christmas collection by watching Horton Hears A Who/The Grinch Who Stole Christmas while eating the last of the Tur-Duk-Hen.
