I love the Race to Cyber Monday, Stel! I will probably be last minute shopping! No one will give me a list. They tick me off, because then I get stressed out hoping the gifts arrive on time.And I know, that isn’t what Christmas is about, but still, you know?

I feel fortunate that I never have to enter a mall or big box store when I buy gifts for those I gift.

I lined up all night at the computer store for Cyber Monday. No one told me I didn’t have to buy a new computer to shop on line.

Dry, I know what you mean. It is not the gift that counts, but family. Yet every year, we knock ourselves out trying to get the right gift for everyone.

spent my day today trying to sort through the disaster that is my garage/shop.i found most of the x-mass stuff, and did some more sorting, but its still a big mess.

well…i got mom to bed after a bit of struggle.and i am a bit tired as well.sooo…im going to start shutting the house up and getting ready for bed.tomorrow morning is shower day for mom, and sweep and mop and vacuum day for me.good night people and pets.

I still haven’t thoroughly read all the comments and don’t know what brouhgt up the ringtone conversation, but I first heard that on an epispode of Benny Hill and loved it. Bought one of the cassettes of Erik Satie (which I can no longer PLAY because I have NOTHING to play CASSETTES WITH ANYMORE but when I got my first AND ONLY STILL ORIGINAL NOKIA CELL PHONE back in 2004 when oldest son went off to Cornell University, that was one of the ringtone choices, and I still have THAT PHONE AND THAT RINGTONE TO THIS DAY! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

…and I found another Gymnopedie recording that cites Benny Hill, so I stand corrected — Q.E.D!

I use reggae for a ringtone.

JP Steve if I remember the Benny Hill episode correctly, he was a mime clown in the realm of Red Skelton, he carried a red rose in his hand and was going to give it to a beautiful blonde haired girl. At any rate, I found the music beautiful and haunting. Just a lovely musical piece.
