Yes Ed Ames was quite funny, too, StelBel. It’s amazing the things that can happen when you’re doing live skits. It’s not like you can do another take….Like the time Carson was wearing a wig to look like Miss Kitty and it didn’t stay on his head.

I occasionally watch Letterman because he’s the best of what’s left. But Carson will always be the best.

Grog, I hardly ever watched Letterman, although he was good, from what i remember. I think that I just really liked Johnny Carson the best.

Darn UTube. I started watching the links StelBel provided and ended up lost in old Abbott and Costello and Marx Bros. skits. Takes me back to all the weekends I was grounded as a kid and watched the old movies all weekend. Soon it will be time to introduce Little man to the Stooges. .You guys are right that nobody comes close to Carson.
