Same way Philadelphia Eagles fans booed Donovan McNabb when he was drafted (although Philadelphia fans are known for booing just about everything).

About my comment yesterday: I don’t consider myself racist; I don’t have anything against Black people. I just really hate the double-standard.
All the “heck, I’m white” comments are implying a stereotype categorizing (all) people of lighter-colored skin. I respect the author’s bias/opinion, and realize that there may be some racial discrimination against minorities from individuals. I do not, however believe the stereotype is accurate to imply that white persons all expect to get out of jail free, so to speak. (I never aim to do anything to get into trouble in the first place.)
I was only establishing my opinion that this line of reasoning is biased and one-sided. The example mentioned yesterday, plus OJ Simpson, as another example, or a comparison of what D Imus said that got him fired with what J Foxx said about M Cyrus (much worse; called her a “white beach” even and said she should do things with her “daddy” that I can’t repeat), and got nothing. All are examples of people getting away with things because and only because they are minorities; Black, in this case. I’m not stereotyping Black folks as the bad guys based on these examples, only that there is a double-standard. White folks would have never gotten away with it.
If there is individual predjudice towards minorities by the majority, there is a bigger general media predjudice AGAINST the majority in this day and age. White folks really can’t get away with even saying the word “black” without being labeled racist. And they can’t complain about it without being labeled racist.
I personally think we should either call it all “sticks and stones” or condemn all people regardless of color for racial profanity. The double standard is what is really racist.

I heard that Phillies’ fans go to the airport and boo bad landings if the game is rained out.

I think if this comic/the comments on it have shown us anything, it’s that people of all races tend to feel like their race is being persecuted.
