The good ol’ acoustic coupler and telephone—takes me back to my college days. Then I got a 1200 baud modem, all built on a card I stuck into my PC XT. The data actually rolled onto the screen faster than I could read it.
yeah -I love paying $75+ a year for my ‘SECURITY SUBSCRIPTION"…..and it’s still called “PROTECTION”…quite a “racket”
