It’s funny that this comic was originally printed BEFORE Bush Jr’s terms in office. Opus here reminds me of Mr. Couldn’t-Even-Read-From-A-Teleprompter-Without-Embarrassing-The-Entire-Nation.
I would vote for him for no other reason than this speech. Shows he’s more human than most of the bloodsucking politicians we have now…and he’s a penguin.
Notice in the second panel after he say “ladies” he begins his “er…uh…” stuff. Perhaps he should change his intro to just good evening or afternoon or morning.
