No, he’s not Canadian. He’s done 4th of July strips in the past. Possibly just didn’t have a good gag for it.

…and now for something entirely different…

Get Paige and play rock, paper, scissors.

If Paige is running the lawn mower then everybody else had better be scared. Jason would get run over on purpose.

Fall into line! Big Brother is watching! Free Speech is not unreasonable even in a comic.

This is very similar to an earlier comic where Jason and Peter were blaming each other for a broken window, and then Andy said if they couldn’t agree then they could both pay for it. So they said that Paige did it.

    Anyone else remember that one?

Nothing like a common enemy to pull two warring entities together.

Paige should have a turn. Isn’t she a liberated female?

Evidently, liberation is overrated. Just ask Manuel Zelaya. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

Oh, here’s an idea: make him mow the lawn. ;)

I’d rather read a funny strip that is not 4th of July related, than read a lame one that ties in a holiday. Besides, this is a democracy and the cartoonists are free to draw what they want. If every cartoon praised Independence Day, then I’d start packing my bags and heading for …um, well, I’ll get back to you on that!
