Do you know where your Thanksgiving turkey is????

No worries, StelBel. You may say I have it boxed in.

SiriusXM Radio Classics channel will be playing some old Thanksgiving shows this week, particularly on Thursday. There will be 4 Jack Benny shows as well as shows from the Life Of Riley, Our Miss Brooks, The Great Gildersleeve and Father Knows Best. There’s also Some Fibber McGee, Burns & Allen & Abbott & Costello on the schedule this week.

I’ll be looking forward to hearing them. They normally don’t play that much comedy.

good morning people and pets.happy, happy, happy……to have electricity.and more wind on the way overnight.my brother in law brought me a genorator, and told me to keep it.if we lose power again i can run the microwave, coffee pot, heater, lights…just not all at the same time.

dont know about the cat.i have a bird.

They’ll get along like Sylvester & Tweetie, Happy.

Good news that you got through the storm OK! I’ve been after Ernie to get a generator since our bad Halloween 2011 storm, but still…no dice (or generator, for that matter!) Glad you’re going to be all set with yours, but here’s hoping you’ll never need it!!

Our ski area got 20" of snow in 24 hours and will open tomorrow. This is supposed to be a very rainy week which will translate to mucho snow in the mountains.

That post about watching T.V. in bed was directed to StelBel. And now that I think of it, I doubt she would want company. I think I’ll just slink back home and stop inviting myself out.

Shika, I used to refer to the Thanksgiving holiday as the five days of football, for there were usually games I wanted to see from Thursday through Monday night.

I have not missed a Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game since I started working back when I was 17.

It’s great to have a tradition to look forward too Grog. I hope the games are good.

You bet it does, Shika. but before the league started intervening, the games were that much more intense. You could tell the players hated each other and the hatred was also visible from the fans of each team.
