I don’t know of any women who “eat the book”. Then again, I don’t know anyone like Cathy and her mom either. Just walk away Dad. Ignorance is truly bliss in that household.

Hello Cathy friends. LMB and I are suiting up.

Exactly what book are they “eating” anyhow??? Is someone maybe making/baking all the recipes in a cookbook perhaps (since Cathy and her mom are sitting there eating their way through an entire pie!)?!?!?

I’ve been missing the both of you too (along with all my other Cathy friends, as well)!!!!! The last few days we’ve been preparing like crazy for out-of-town visitors that were originally due tomorrow but a call earlier today has that visit postponed until Monday so I’ll most likely be back here again a couple more times before then.

Hope you’re okay kittycatpawsare. I’m sorry that sleep is so hard to come by for you. Aaron’s is only occasional, and never more than one bad night. He has a couple of elderly and one disabled person that he checks on routinely as part of his job. He used to do it on his own, but the families love so much that he watches out for their loved ones that Cap’n put it on his regular schedule, so he gets paid. Money isn’t why he does it.

OK—I must be behind on the latest lingo, since “eat the book” is new to me. Doesn’t sound too tasty, though.

I’m a day behind on my comics, and left a note on last night’s strip here.
