Trading four years of college for $10,000 up front?

Sheesh. Now there’s an epic level of cluelessness. It isn’t as if ten grand’ll buy you four years at a community college these days.

Ravenswing, you misread the strip. Thorp said he advised the punk to get college reimbursement in his contract, but INSTEAD he took only $10,000. No one claimed that was enough to go to college. The kid was too greedy.

Send the ingrate back to timbucktu or where ever he blew his own chances and get on with something current.

My brother and I both attended for $6,800. I grauduated in the same year as Woodstock part 1. Is this an old ‘toon??

If you’re not logged in, you can only view the current day.

If you’re logged in but a freeloader (like me), you can use the arrow buttons above the upper right corner of the strip to go back as far as a week, but no more.

If you register and pay (not sure how much), you can go back in the archives as far as you want.
