“Ruthless capitalism”? The Lefties always try to characterize capitalism as somehow cruel. It appears so only in comparison to their ideal that we should devote our lives in service to others.

So when anyone has the silly thought, for example, that someone should be able to keep the money they’ve earned, capitalists get accused of greed and selfishness.

History shows the truth is “ruthless socialism”: Soviet gulags, Nationalist German Socialist Workers Party extermination camps, Pol Pot’s “Killing Fields”, Mao’s Cultural Revolution, etc.

Meantime those “ruthless capitalists” have been creating wealth for even the poorest, extending lifetimes, eradicating famine, eliminating slavery, etc.

You’ll probably need to stop in a shoe store as soon as you arrive downtown.

Pscharer is like those die-hard communists who kept bleating on about the blessings of their system even after it had collapsed. Capitalism failed too, bozo. Get with the program. “Please. It’s not so bad.”

Creating wealth for even the poorest? Eradicating famine? Eliminating slavery? Yeah, right. Pull the other one, why don’t you?

I have to give you “extending lifetimes”, though. IF you can afford it, which most people can’t.
