You would think Rover’s nose would have kept him in the clear.

Dogs just love going through dumpsters. Just ask Louie.

I feel about the brother, the same way some of you feel about the pelican in ‘Daddy’s Home.’ UGH!

The brother is totally out of character for this strip. How could parents who have raised Red, a really kind hearted, decent kid also have raised on ogre like “brother”, whatever his name is?

Sure, there are differences in temperament between siblings, but this guy is a complete opposite, really an outcast in a loving home.

Is he insane? Some day he’s going to hurt someone.

I really, really find him disgusting!

So wrong! Ditch this older brother storyline. It’s just WRONG! Red and Rover is about innocence and love. Older brother is TOTALLY WRONG. NO! NO! NO!

Older brother is a teen in the late 60’s/early 70’s. Isn’t that when the drug culture was most “acceptable” (as in “all the kids are doing it”)? That would explain how very different he is from Red.

I love the older brother and enjoy seeing his face get more and more pimply! He is right for the time period, kids are always different, and teenagers never appreciate their younger siblings. The contrast between the two is exceptional and I’m sure their parents wonder the same way all parents do…where did these kids come from? I vote to keep him!
