The band kicks out Derek so he can focus fully on baseball. Milford even makes the playoffs, but Derek Chance turns out to be another Marty DeJong.

The band gets Al-Jo to be their new lead, but she turns out to be another Yoko and the band’s sweet gigs start drying up.

Good to see “Friar Tuck” hasn’t lost any of his boyish charm. Instead of being self centered, he could have played football for Milford and blocked for that All-Star above the shoulders Ghost.

Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse than Lini. Maybe “!” (awesome shirt, BTW) needs to start his own website calling Derek some kind of poser. Who will be Derek’s Kareem? I’m with jmc647, time to bring back another character from the past. I vote for Neil Cray and Stumpy Crump.

Whenever one of Gil Thorp’s kids is a junior, he returns next year as a senior. That’s why it’s called a storyline. Duh.

So will Derek be singing Al-Jo’s songs as he winds up his 58 mph fastball?

How about Joe Sharkey? We could maybe bring him back as a hitting instructor. As I remember he lost a couple of fingers and ended up pitching. But he sure could hit the ball. I think these guys should maybe have some of the old guys come back for the ceremonial first pitch.
