“America’ s Natural Gas” is inundating us with commercials pointing out they’re the “good guys”. I’ll bet if you go to their web site they won’t discuss “fracking”, just like they ignore it in their ads. “Gasland” is a nice documentary that shows only PART of the problem with these nice “natural gas” folks. Yes, they also used nuclear power- with an effort to get gas out by fracking with a nuke, but the gas was too radioactive to use.
the SPR is for emergencies such as time of (HOT) wars.
this situation is the creation of the eco-Idiots and Liberals who have blocked domestic production of oil/gas for decades.
They continue in denial that the modern commercial world economy runs on fossil fuel.
“alternative fuels” use fossil fuels to manufacture equipment and they are inefficient and sometimes harmful…more so than carbon emission.
If America could have done what was needed since 1980, we would not be 60% or more DEPENDENT on unstable enemies with Foreign OilFields, and a Gang such as OPEC to gouge us at every turn and DAMAGE our economy, and endanger our national security.

Yeah, we don’t need alternative fuels.

Wrong comic: this is Ramirez. Though, amazingly, I agree with it.

We put ourselves in this pickle by perpetually having stupidly low gas taxes and further clinching our dependence.

For once Churcillisright, Saudi Arabia has 1/5 of the world’s oil reserves.
If the monarchy was to fall it would trigger a worldwide recession.
And I would have to live on those 300 cans of food I have and the dinners in 2 freezers.
