Hey, she’s doing you a favor, Charlie Brown. This is obsolete technology!

I used to like destroying stuff too! Kids love to watch things break or fall apart because they are so curious as to how the mechanics of an object or item work. That’s one of the reasons, another is that they just like watching stuff break. In adulthood its all the same lol we like watching shows about stuff breaking like demolition derbies :)

I’m glad Lucy stopped talking about herself in the third person (eventually). Her dialog is especially weird in this one.

Aside from the walk she talks, Lucy is gonna wish she digested the record. Who eats a record?

Even as an innocent tot, she still gives him grief.

I believe that Lucy represents Charles Schulz’s wife, who was often a pain in the neck to him.

First Lucy in a Sunday strip! The first three months of Sundays were probably drawn earlier than the daily strips – they just had Charlie Brown, Shermy, Patty, Violet and Snoopy. Poor Schroeder doesn’t show up on a Sunday until May.
