Magnaut, the right just wants Obama’s agenda to fail, period. Or didn’t you notice how they blocked DADT, which 70% of Republicans supported? Or how they forced him to produce a GOP healthcare plan and then STILL voted against it? They don’t want him to succeed in anything.
No surprise, living in southern Indiana we get lots of Kentucky political adds. They are the nastiest piece of junk you can imagine. Guess who is best at creating these adds? Yep, old stone face.
i remember bush’s regime not allowing anyone but loyal followers into the audience at public rallys. I remember legitimate legal protestors penned in under highway overpasses miles away from the venues they were protesting. this was american freedom under bush.
obama has the courage to face his dissenters and supporters alike, publically, on tv.
I felt america had died when i heard about these bill of rights atrocities under bush.
not only is dissent patriotic, but i’m proud that it is free and thriving once again.
“I would like him to succeed in becoming an American”
Are you being facetious?
“and support our Constitution.”
Support for DADT repeal was support for our constitution. With the exception of 8 brave Republicans, they were against its repeal. Sounds like he’s more supportive than they.
Limbaugh started the chant. The minions dutifully followed. They’ve been bobbing and weaving since about what it means. Hint: Power and control back again - just give us one more chance and we promise we’ll not screw up again.
Jade, I heard some comments on Bush, 43 and wishing he would fail. When asked, I said I hoped he would succeed to put our country back on track, get out of Iraq and win the war in Afghanistan. It would have been great, but didn’t come about. Think how great our country would be had he actually succeeded.
funny how those that claim they don’t want Obama to fail, just his far-left radical agenda can’t name a single far-left radical agenda that he’s pushed. Say it often enough, some bozos believe it must be true.
They don’t want Obama to fail (except for Limbaugh who said it on air), they just want every bill he sends to Congress to fail. Apparently there’s a difference.

I never wished for Bush to fail, and I was vehemently against the guy.

Even Santa is tired of the same old GOP rants. This ‘toon is a good depiction of just how small-minded McConnell really is.
