Brilliant means of ridding yourself of a spouse…no body, no crime.
It brings to mind the old Alfred Hitchcock episode where a wife kills her husband by hitting him with a frozen leg of lamb, then cooks it and serves the evidence to the police.
Not only is there a face in the middle of the decorated tree, the other tree has a sort-of profile with a closed eye, facing right. (Middle branch is the nose…)
