Clearly we have the wrong people representing us, yet somehow I know the incumbents, no matter how incompetent, have no real worry about losing their jobs. Imagine what they don’t know about Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google and the other high tech companies. To me the hearing pointed out a serious deficit in the type of representatives the parties are attracting.
Some (maybe most) of the mold in congress still believe the internet is a “series of tubes”. Not exactly the representation we need in our country. Especially now.
I find it kinda hilarious that the Zuck donated money to the people who are supposed to grill him at capitol hill. A slap on the wrist is all he’s gonna get.
I’d like to seem them reading “Economy for Dummies,” “Representing for Dummies” and “Legislation for Dummies” Why give them new things to learn when they aren’t even doing the job they have?

In their defense, they weren’t on Facebook giving away all their information.

I guess they won’t talk about how Bannon and Mercer used Facebook data to collaborate with the Russians and throw the election to Trump.

As if Congressmen, especially Republicans would do actual research.
Next, you’re going to claim that they want to hold hearings about Equifax. Or Target.
Or hearings about what to do in Syria.

Ain’t that the truth? Both House and Senate hearings were pathetic. With rare exceptions those clowns didn’t have a clue what they were asking about.

That should say “Dummies for Facebook.”
