I’ve tried to keep my page non-political ever since I’ve used it, however I sometimes can’t help weighing in on issues very important to me like the environment and social justice.
I have always been fascinated buy some of the stuff some people would post to their 700+ “friends”. “Hi everyone, I will be out of the country for the next 2 weeks. Hope all my house plants don’t die because nobody will be home. lol”
One of my daughters treats FB as her personal private network, showing pictures of all the rooms in her house, as well as the outside views, and seems oblivious the idea that some of her 300+ friends might not be friends.
My other daughter, changes her passwords monthly, only sends encrypted e-mails, (no social networks) uses Tails and Kali Linux through a hand coded router, firewall and VPN.
I guess, I’m somewhere in between with ultra minimal FB and LinkedIn accounts and using firewalled, but very fat Arch and Fedora Linux distributions.

Even more glad than ever that we never got involved with Facebook.

I can’t say I’d be that distressed if the Zuckerberg went down in flames.
