Not a bad idea if it was cheaper too, but it’s probably costlier than any other.

    “Was his passing expected?”

    “No, it was rather sodden.”

I found some made of woven grass and bamboo (which is in the grass family) but none made of sod.

I’m sure someone will do it sooner or later

I’ll take one. Better than being pumped full of poison and sealed in a concrete vault. Worms gotta eat too.

If he turns into a zombie and breaks out of his coffin, doe that make him a sodbuster?

So, wood isn’t 100% biodegradable? Did I miss something?

Is the corpse wearing any clothing or is it just sewn up into a plain sack? A plain sack would be more environmentally friendly.

Someone must have told him to “Sod off!”

The funeral will be talked about for years after the body falls out of the bottom in route to the grave.

“How did you know the deceased?”

“Oh, I never met him. I’m just here to say goodbye to the miserable old sod.”

My grandfather was born in a sod house, he might have appreciated this!
