A wine that’s not too sweet, with just a bit of nuttiness and aged in American oak. Finishing off with a hint of TEA at the end.

    So.

I guess the shoes and the hairy hat will be for sale on e-bay now? Are those glasses anyone’s? What is the opening bid? Is it all one lot or can we bid on just one? I need a new hat.

Not sure I get the point. Palin seemed to have a lot of influence in the past election (certainly more so than Obama), and hasn’t faltered since. I wouldn’t vote for her for President, but then she isn’t running. So why the cartoon?

I think the point is that Palin’s bone-headed endorsement of bone-headed candidates in Delaware, Alaska, and Nevada have cost the Republicans control of the senate, and made Republicans laughing stock in those states. The actual Republican candidates in those states, had they won the primaries, would have easily won their races. R’s with actual power aren’t happy about it, and she’s up against powerful entrenched interests that are not interested in her brand of anti-intellectual politics.

Alaska Senate Vote count is an apparent refudiation of Miz Teapot and her “reality show” politics.

Some of you may have missed the Palin hosted travelogue on The Learning Channel where her party got too close to some wild grizzlies.

HOWIE, Pelosi’s approval ratings in her constituency are nearly 80%. Sarah Palin can’t even dream of those numbers in Alaska.

I’d have loved to watch the Alaska shows as love the scenery and wildlife, but there was no way I could listen to her voice without taking a tranquilizer. Clips from this will be used in commercials when she runs for whatever. Cheap campaign financing move.

I should have learned last time that this comment section is reserved for idiots that suffer from repetition compulsion, i.e. If you repeat a mistake often enough surely it will come out okay. Well you liberals and your mainstream media can no longer decide what the rest of us think. This is a politically right of center country. You should also be disabused of the idea that socialism works. In all the years that it has been tried it has never worked. If you think the democrat party is not about socialism asked yourself who owns 61 percent of General Motors! Bob

Coombs … you mean that GM that made $2 billion in profits last quarter … that GM. It sounds like the government assistance worked out pretty bleeep well. How many thousands of jobs were saved because of this “socialism” … I wouldn’t doubt that your job would have been adversely affected if GM had been allowed to fold up. There aren’t many who would not have been affected if the government just let GM, Chrysler, AIG, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and others to just go bankrupt.

‘Toon is a reminder of an old James Watt with the bear stating over the glasses and shoes some of Watt’s arrogant statements, then ending “so I ate him”. Palin envies the pain of a Watt, and even further to the “right”.

Yes, she was tempting bears on her fishing trip, and will be doing many “Alaska things” for the FIRST time on the TV show apparently. Now that Murkowski is winning a WRITE IN, and people have to spell her name right, Sarah may be moving back to Idaho soon if she looks for votes, though the Church Universal and Triumphant may evacuate Idaho soon and there goes her “base”.

I’ve lived, hunted, and hiked in Alaska for over 40 years; more time than Palin has been here. She is without a doubt the worst governor we have ever had and has always…always been anti-environment, anti-wildlife. Amongst some of the things done under her administration are gassing wolf pups in their dens, shooting wolves from planes and helicopters, allowing the snaring of bears (including sows and cubs), and the removal of protections from belugas and polar bears. She has little standing with the Native Community and as the write-in campaign of Lisa Murkowski shows, she has dropped a great deal in her support from fellow Alaskans. (Murkowski’s opponent was publicly supported by Palin.) In fact, it can be demonstrated the best thing she ever did for Alaska was resigning in mid-term so she could get the big bucks from a book deal she could not make while in office. Everytime I see her I think “Aimee Semple McPherson”.

BTW, the last poll I read in Alaska showed her approval rating at 42%. When she was elected gov she was at 89%. From all indications the decline will continue. (Her “reality” show won’t raise it much up here for all of the “incredible” things she does on it are commonplace for many Alaskan women as well as men. And none of them have rescue crews standing just outside the camera’s view ready to med-evac them should they break a fingernail or muss up their hairdo.)

Dobieman, I tend to think of Tammy Faye Baker without the paint job myself.

And what made her so popular when she first took over was that she basically did to the oil drillers in Alaska what Hugo Chavez did to them in Venezuela, made em’ cough up the dough and then spread it around the populace.

Go, bears! How anyone could knowingly squander the grandeur that is Alaska, and then aspire to put the natural wealth of the U.S. in her evil crosshairs, and THEN have the support of people other then the clinically brain-dead is beyond me. (Apologies to the brain-dead; clearly they have more on the ball than Ms. Palin.)
