    re-post

$51,854,687 is what the NRA spent in our 2016 general elections

99.99995% of the money went for Republicans

0.00005% of the money went for Democrats

    NRA success rate:

    by money: 94.4%

    by candidate: 73.3%

Public machine-guns have got to go.

I wonder who is most likely to do it?

We CAN fix it. In November, DON’T VOTE for anyone who took money from the NRA. PERIOD!

If we had taken the founders advice and kept money out of politics, we wouldn’t have to deal with career multimillionaires who only pretend to represent the voters. Personally, I worked very hard for one of my representatives, and now that he is in DC, and suddenly wealthy, our only communication is with form letters or aides on the phone promising that he’ll get back to me.

I was watching a news conference during the Boston Marathon bombing and a reporter ask if this was “a government plot to deny even more of our civil rights”.

The GOP is getting bigger and more frequent checks – because there are more and more school shootings. We make more powerful assault rifles available to the public – while our children’s blood runs in the streets.

It’s time to stand up and be counted. The children are showing us the way. I want my grandchildren to be safe in school, at the mall, in church, and when they go to their entertainments. It’s time to vote against any Congress person who has accepted money from the NRA!!!!! I want to stand up for your children and your grandchildren and say that they are right to protest against a Congress and an Administration that thinks that by doing nothing they can slide into the next election.

Now that the Republicans have revealed themselves as the monsters they are, will you stop voting for them?

Yet it was the Dems who filibustered the most recent bi-partisan bill designed to beef up the NICS system.

    Last year.

Right after the Texas rampage shooting.

    ”…beef up the NICS system.”

Beef? You’re calling that GOP milksop propaganda ploy beef?

American citizens right to keep and bear arms is an ironclad guarantee established in our Constitution, so we’ll have no trouble there.

The part where corporations and special interest groups bribe our public servants – now that part is in deep trouble.

When the Republicans lose control of Congress and the White House, there will be new legislation to help ensure that anything posing a deadly threat to American citizens will be held to the highest standards of responsibility and accountability.

You want Beef? We are gonna see some beef alright – as in:

…establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity…

“I am ashamed, as it took children to shake me from my comfort zone to come forward to say enough is enough,” said Patti Seno, a Democrat who attended the meeting, according to the AP. “An avalanche is coming to Washington, sir, and it is going to be led by our children.”

Coffman reportedly sought to defend his record on gun-related legislation. He told constituents that his decision last year to vote for a rollback of an Obama-era regulation barring Social Security beneficiaries from owning guns if they lack the mental capacity to manage their own benefits was a civil rights issue.

That statement, however, was greeted with jeers and boos, according to the AP.

The younger generation eats freakin’ laundry soap, I don’t think “guns” are the issue.

Heck, Planned Parenthood kills more people each than guns do…where are liberal cries for justice there?

Guy, doncha just love the All-None-Always-Never mentality? Particularly when they’re comparing oranges to onions (not apples, they’re too close to oranges, both being fruit).
