Fanning the public outcry which led to their convictions. But later, a serial rapist and murderer confessed to the crime, an examination of the DNA samples proved he acted alone. The Five were found to be innocent, after ten years, they were awarded $40 million. Trump again took out an ad in the NY Daily News to call the settlement a disgrace. That’s our President.
