The message we get from all those winning sports figures thanking God for their victories is that (1) neither they nor their coaches and trainers really needed to put in any hard work at all and (2) either God hates the losers or Satan loves them.
It’s a silly comment really. Just about every sport wouldn’t be possible without gravity. Skating, running… Although the high-jump would be fun, if not meaningless. … archery might work.

Gravity helps some.. and prevents others.. Snow boarders would like a little less gravity to get in a few more tricks.
