Many churches have Junior Church for kids their age, it’s more geared to their age group. Too bad this church doesn’t.

You are lucky if it wraps up in an hour.

That is sad. Why shouldn’t a child be able to sit for an hour? We see that parents haven’t trained their children when kids can’t sit through a meal and run around a restaurant or need to be diverted with a playground. Church, if the sermon sticks to scripture and includes some contemporary songs with a doctrinal message, is exciting. Kids in our church graduate from Sunday School at age six 6 and join their parents in worship of the creator of the universe. Any church that makes that subject dull is doing something wrong.

PLEASE tell me that Patrick isn’t going to wear that hockey uniform everywhere he goes.

And what church in the world would allow him to bring that stick into the sanctuary anyway? Yes, I know it’s a comic strip.

Church is a good place for kids to study and do their science homework while mommie and daddy are playing “I’m a good Christian” with other parents who force their kids to attend their parents weekly fantasy camp.

In Judaism, the services for the Day of Atonement can be painfully long so it’s not just Christianity

Can you imagine having to dress in a suit and tie 6 days a week? Ugh. If you MUST go to church, find one that lets you wear casual clothes. I remember the Catholic church on a college campus allowed jeans and t-shirts. Afterall, it shouldn’t matter what you wear just so you show up and do what you’re told. ;)

You should try an orthodox service, for Easter for example. Two hours, standing.
