The reason there is no mention of “sh*thole Countrys” on the statue plaque is that the entire edifice harkins back to the days when the United States was governed by people of moral stature and standing who believed in politeness and courtesy even while roundly condemning their adversaries; who could cast aspersions on their enemies without resorting to the vulgate language of the gutter! It’s NOT that they didn’t KNOW such language, it’s just that they abandoned such wording upon leaving their youth and achieving the maturity of adulthood. A return to such relative graciousness is to be devoutly wished!
I, for one, am profoundly tired of the grade-school playground pronouncements of our current resident in the Oval Office!

But there should be a sign on that statue of the wonderful lady in the harbor that is a warning against the orange potty mouth in the Oval Office.
