It’s hell to be old when the night is young.

My lifestyle hasn’t changed much over the years in that respect – I am a morning person. I think that makes aging less traumatic. Ommmm….

Arlo – Be happy that the candle can still be lit.

Sigh. When you admit that you are old, Arlo, then you become old. This strip will linger and lose its appeal if Arlo and Janis become retirement fodder.I, personally, am somewhere between a 12- and 16-year-old in a grownup body. ;o)

Wait until first time some downy chick at the fast food counter gives you the senior citizen’s discount and you don’t know whether to be annoyed or pleased.

I think I like A&J as middle-agers. Gives them the chance to do young or ‘grown-up’ things both, in Jimmy’s mind. I, for one, like the now Janice far more than the young unstable one. Keep up the good work Mr. Johnson.
