They are flawed candidates just like Obama was in ‘08. At least they understand basic economics: big government and big deficits are bad for the country. The Great Society policies have failed in spite of trillions of dollars and 50 years to implement them. If Obama’s socialistic agenda is so great, why are England and France retreating from their nanny states and Greece is on the brink of financial collapse?

there is no separation of church and state in the constitution, so O’Donnell was actually correct.

At least she just got stomped and not shot like at Kent State in 1970.

But there probably won’t be a song with intelligible words like Four dead in Ohio.

    Dear 1st Amendment “scholars”:

Please educate yourselves before spouting silly comments. I suggest the wikipedia article on the First Amendment as a primer:

What constitutes establishment of religion? A formal “church”? A teaching? A doctrine? A conecpt?

It says “congress”. Should states have the power to establish religion, limit the press or speech?

It is the province of the Courts, and the other branches of government to give flesh to, and apply these words to actual circumstances.

It is no honor to be ignorant of constitutional history and interpretation.

separation is implicit. It would violate my first amendment right to free speech if this were a Christian nation and as a result I could not say god damit.

“there is no separation of church and state in the constitution, so O’Donnell was actually correct.”

I find it hilarious that the same people who want to “keep government out of my Medicare”, and don’t trust government to do anything at all somehow trust government to promote religion :-)
